Scheduled trash services for today, April 9, will not be collected until next week due to an unforeseen sympathy picket by workers at Republic Services.
Statement from Ron Krall, Republic Services:
“We experienced a sympathy work stoppage in the local region today. We apologize for any inconvenience and assure you that today’s stoppage was not connected with any local issue. At this time, we don’t anticipate it to last more than a day or two. We are working around the clock to restore the regular collection by bringing in help from other areas and using management personnel to service routes on an interim basis. If we miss your normal pickup, please store and bag your extra trash in plastic garbage bags and put it out on your next regularly scheduled collection day. For updates, visit our website at www.disposalservices.net. ”
All trash is expected to be picked up next Tuesday. We apologize for the inconvenience. For more information call Republic Services of Southern California at (714) 238-3300 or visit www.DisposalServices.net.
