At its March 26, 2013 meeting, the City Council approved Ordinance No. 2013-574 approving the sale and use of Safe and Sane fireworks within the City during the specified time period around the July 4th holiday. The number of allowed sales permits and requirements for obtaining a permit are outlined in the ordinance and City staff has prepared an application and checklist to assist community organizations with the permitting process.
